1. Update manufacturer names for Magento?

To update a manufacturer, you should go to Settings -> Advanced Settings and assign a manufacturer attribute code for all attribute sets.

Please follow instructions:

2. Open the [Advanced Settings] form:

3. Choose the attribute code "Manufacturer" for all attribute sets with the drop-down list opposite each position:

Once it is done, the manufacturer names will be updated during synchronization.
