ICEcat Product Catalogue Integration Addon for Store Manager allows you to download product descriptions and images from ICEcat product catalog. You may register for free Open ICEcat product catalog or paid FULL ICEcat catalog with the extended product database.

This addon is already built-in Store Manager and should be registered with a separate license key. So in order to use the addon you have to install and register Store Manager first.

ICEcat Product Catalogue Integration allows you to:

  • Register for free Open ICEcat product catalogue or paid FULL ICEcat catalogue with the extended product database. The same login details will be used while working with ICEcat Integration Plugin.
  • Synchronize product names at your store with ICEcat ones.
  • Download short and long multilingual product descriptions (for retailers). Getting product descriptions from ICEcat catalogue retailer means confidence in their quality as the descriptions are already approved by manufacturers.
  • Download product images from ICEcat catalogue. Retailer may download thumbnail, low quality and high quality product images. Entire database may be updated, though it is more convenient to get only daily updates of the downloaded descriptions and images.

This plugin is especially useful for those who are just setting up an online store. With product descriptions and images from ICE cat catalogue you have the possibility to:

  • Fill in gaps and get all the necessary information then and there. All in one place.
  • Reduce the amount of mistakes and get the needed information quite fast.
  • Upload products from reseller's store to ICEcat product catalogue. Placing products in a large product database makes it easier for potential customers to find the products of their interest. In future versions of ICEcat Integration Plugin users will be able to download EAN (European Article Number) product codes.
  • Synchronize data and have it updated in a few simple steps. It also allows online merchants to upload products to ICEcat.

By downloading product descriptions from the ICEcat database the user gets the exact and accurate product descriptions in more than 20 different languages.

Also a user can upload images of different size for the chosen products, starting with thumbnail to low and high resolution ones.
